Olive Garden Allergen Menu – All Allergen Menu Information Added ❤️

Olive Garden Allergen Menu: Olive Garden is one of the few places we’ve gone to eat with a child allergic to eggs, milk, and nuts. I love that it’s part of a chain and that we can find one anywhere. We’ve eaten there a lot, and each time we’ve been very happy with our meal. There are many safe pasta options; you can even make a smoothie for dessert that works, so I think that’s a win.

All of their dishes, except for the Biscotti Almond dessert, don’t have nuts, so I’m pretty sure the food we order won’t have come in contact with nuts. But there are a lot of dishes that have egg and dairy in them. This is not the place to eat if you are allergic to something. This could be a good place to eat if you want to go somewhere popular with good safety measures and procedures. We needed it.

They explain how they handle food allergies on their website: “When you tell your server that you have an allergy, they will add this information to your order. This will let the kitchen know that you have a food allergy, and they will change their gloves and serving tools, among other things. Each of our managers has taken a course on food safety, which taught them the basics about food allergies and how to handle food safely.

FAQs

Does your pasta contain egg? Spaghetti and Fettuccine, which are made of wheat, don’t have eggs, but Gluten-Free Rotini and filled pasta like Cheese Ravioli and Asiago Tortelloni do. All of our pasta is cooked in the same pasta cooker.

At Olive Garden, the Signature Italian Dressing does have milk in it. But you can dress your salad with olive oil and vinegar.

What type of oil does Olive Garden use?

In our fryers, we use very refined canola oil or very refined soy oil. Based on what our suppliers told us, these oils are lovely and contain no soy protein.

Can I eat at Olive Garden with a peanut allergy?

Olive Garden is another large restaurant chain with a full peanut-free menu and an online allergen guide. The website says every item on the regular menu (but not unique) is made without peanuts or tree nuts.

Do you have procedures in place to minimize cross-contact in the kitchen?

Yes! They will add this information to your order if you tell your server that you have a food allergy. This will let the kitchen know that you have a food allergy, and they will change their gloves and serving tools, among other things. Each of our managers has taken a course on food safety that taught them how to handle food safely and gave them basic information about food allergies.

Even though we have processes and procedures in place, we know that our building is not allergen-free. Because of this, we can’t promise that anything is free of allergens.

What kind of oil do you use in your fryer?

In our fryers, we use very refined canola oil or very refined soy oil. Based on what our suppliers told us, these oils are very refined and don’t have any soy protein.

Conclusion

Don’t worry; Olive Garden isn’t going anywhere. We’re glad to hear that our favorite Italian restaurant in the neighborhood isn’t going anywhere. Who doesn’t like pasta and as many breadsticks as they want?
